General Intensive
What is a General Intensive?
A general intensive is customized to meet the specific needs and goals of the couple or individual seeking therapy.
What is the format for a General Intensive?
An intensive format differs from traditional counseling and can provide a couple or individual much more “traction” in a shorter timeframe as they navigate the challenges going on in their lives.
Typically, this intensive is structured so that the client(s) meet 4 hours per day for 2-5 consecutive days. A 30-minute phone consultation takes place before the intensive to better understand the situation and customize the treatment plan. There will also be a 30-minute follow-up phone call sometime after the intensive for after care needs.
Who should attend a General Intensive?
Any individual or couple seeking to grow as a person or in their relationship.
This can be an individual seeking emotional and spiritual restoration as a result of any difficult life circumstance such as anxiety, depression, divorce, grief and loss, addiction, etc.
This can also help any marriage or relationship bond get stronger and help create a more meaningful and long lasting physical and emotional connection. This intensive can be for a couple experiencing the pain, loss, grief and trauma of betrayal or infidelity in their relationship.
What is the cost and accommodations for a General Intensive?
A $600 non-refundable deposit is required at the time the intensive is booked and the remaining balance is due 45 days before the intensive. Please note that cancellations can be made up to 45 days before the scheduled intensive and only the $600 deposit will be forfeited.
