Intensives

 

Intensive counseling sessions are available for individuals or couples who are seeking to accelerate getting to issues and hoping to expedite the healing and growth process. Depending on client and counselor availability, intensives can range from 3-4 hours a day for 2-5 consecutive days where individuals or couples can work on a variety of issues. Intensives are usually offered during the late afternoon/evening hours and sometimes are offered thru the weekend. Some benefits of intensive counseling may be:

  • Restoring and strengthening relationships and marriages that are stuck or in crisis

  • Identifying and treating the root cause of addiction

  • Addressing unresolved trauma

  • Emotional and spiritual restoration

  • Navigating difficult life circumstances such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, etc.

We realize that participating in an intensive requires a significant investment of your time and resources and we are committed to do our best to facilitate a comfortable environment that promotes safety, security, vulnerability and authenticity. Intensive counseling sessions will be held at our Northwest Arkansas office conveniently located off I-49 in Springdale.

Types of Intensives


General.

A general intensive is for any individual or couple seeking to grow as a person or in their relationship. It is customized to meet the specific needs and goals of the couple or individual seeking therapy.

Men’s Sex Addiction.

Sexual addiction is essentially an intimacy disorder that results in cycles of avoidance, acting out and deep shame. Our Men’s Sex Addiction intensive helps the client to break out of emotional and spiritual isolation and shame. Some benefits of treatment include identification of the root cause of addiction, identification and treatment of unresolved trauma, emotional and spiritual restoration, along with a clear roadmap, tools and resources for the continued road to recovery.

Spouses of Sex Addicts.

Sexual addiction, infidelity, or betrayal of any kind takes a devastating toll on marriages and romantic relationships. Spouses and partners need support and healing to cope with the range of emotions and difficult experiences caused by betrayal. This intensive seeks to support women who are affected by their husband or partner's addiction, infidelity and betrayal.
