CAROLYN HULL
MAMFT, LPC
Carolyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arkansas and Colorado. She received her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, MS. She also has a BA in Elementary Education from Wheaton College.
Over the past 20 years Carolyn has worked in various educational and counseling settings including private practice, community mental health agencies, non-profit organizations, schools, universities, and churches. Carolyn works with adolescents and adults, individually and as couples, around issues of depression, anxiety, suicidality, self harm, trauma, parenting, sexual identity, relational conflict, and grief. She uses a variety of therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to, CBT, EMDR, Solution Focused, IFS and Family Systems. Carolyn offers extended EMDR sessions for clients looking to expedite processing past traumas and hurts.
A native of Tampa, FL, Carolyn has lived in 8 different states, 11 different cities and now calls Springdale, AR home. She is a mother to 3 children and wife to her husband, Chris. In juggling these roles of professional, mother, wife and friend, Carolyn understands how difficult it is to find balance, and how overwhelming transitions can be when moving into a new community, job, or stage in life. She considers it a privilege to journey with each one of her clients, learning their stories and helping them reach their goals.
When not working you can find Carolyn running carpool, playing tennis, jogging, reading, traveling, napping, or having coffee with a friend.
